The Kuwaiti Society for Democratic Development
A National Non-profit Organization that acts on Building Democracy
within the Kuwaiti society
• Who Are We:
As one of the leading organizations in the Arab Nation in the field of
Democratic development & promotion; the Kuwaiti Society for Democratic
Development (KSDD) provides different types of support to ensure the
progress of democracy in the Kuwaiti society, and its’ development to
reach the level of highly developed Nations. Further more, KSDD offers
its’ expertise in the field of Democratic Development & promotion to
some of the other Gulf Countries organizations.
• Our Philosophy:
The role of KSDD revolves around the development of civic work and its’
habilitation to be able to hold reins of the upcoming democratic
project, as it is the ground for evolving new ideas towards Governmental
Establishments.
This requires intensifying and re-organizing the ideas that accompanied
the commencement of Civic Society in Kuwait during the previous stage,
raising citizens’ awareness levels, and catalyzing them in all possible
methods to practice their required role.
• Our Program:
From the time of its’ establishment, KSDD has worked on bridging the
gaps between all involved parties in the Kuwaiti society to establish a
general idea of the method of developing Social Reality to be able to
further comprehend democracy mechanisms, and transfer it to a general
social practice that participates in the consolidation of the democratic
project.
KSDD strived in debating with University professors, Judges, MPs, youth
in general, and youth from the Ruling Family in particular, as they
represent the two parties of the social contract (the Constitution), in
addition to the fact that they will be the future leaders who will lead
Kuwait to the shore of safety.
KSDD has planned a full comprehensive plan that starts with examination
of Bills that conflict with the constitution, ridding the political
practice of the impurities that stuck with it during the past stage, in
addition to directing the youth towards adopting dialogue as a method to
achieve true knowledge.
• Bodies and Comities of KSDD:

applying its’ philosophy in the development and promotion of democratic
